MARK MCMAHON, USPTA MASTER PROFESSIONAL founder and president

Originally from Melbourne, Australia. Mark played tennis professionally before embarking on a career as a club professional. Recognized and awarded by his tennis industry peers, Mark has been acclaimed as an astute and insightful Search Consultant and Coach. Mark brings the discipline and dedication of being a world-class competitor and over 30 years of private club tennis excellence to every engagement. 

Mark served for 9 years on the Board of Directors for USPTA and as president of the association’s Florida Division.  He was a founding faculty member of CMAA's original Sports Management Education Program and a speaker for BMI 1 on Tennis Operations at Georgia State University. Mark's work also includes an extended consulting role for the United States Tennis Association.

Before establishing his consultancy in 2008, Mark launched a new initiative on behalf of the United States Tennis Association which required the hiring, training and deployment of more than 60 new Tennis Service Representative Consultants who worked across the country in USTA's 17 geographic sections.  

 
 
 
 

tOM dAGLIS, USPTA MASTER PROFESSIONAL executive search consultant & career coach

Tom Daglis is an award-winning tennis professional and has been awarded with numerous honors; most notably the USPTA's most prestigious national award, the Alex Gordon United States Professional of the Year.  In addition, in 2016 Tom was honored with the International Tennis Hall of Fame Educational Merit Award. 

Tom has successfully directed large tennis events and coach's workshops on a national scale and has personally owned and operated five Tennis Specialty Pro Shops. He has served on various USTA national committees and has been a speaker at multiple USPTA World Conferences, USPTA Division Conferences, and Club Managers’ Association of America (CMAA) World Conferences.

Currently, Tom is the President/Owner of the Pelican Tennis Group, LLC based in Gulfport, MS, providing tennis consulting services to the entire tennis industry. 

 

Frank Fanning, USPTA, CRSE

Chief Relationship Officer, Executive Search Consultant

Frank Fanning, USPTA, CRSE, brings over 30 years of racquets industry experience to his role as Chief Relationship Officer and Executive Search Consultant at McMahon Careers.

Frank has led the racquets program at Big Horn Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA and The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and worked at some of the country’s finest clubs and resorts, including the Breakers in Palm Beach, FL, New Seabury Resort in Mashpee, MA, and The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, CA.

Frank has also had the honor of helping guide young athletes, on and off the court, through his coaching of NCAA tennis teams at Marist College, College of St Vincent’s, and Sarah Lawrence College, where his women’s tennis team won the most matches of any coach in program history.

 

Brian Armstrong, CCM Executive Search Consultant

Brian Armstrong is a leader in the club industry with more than 17 years of club management experience running member-owned and for-profit private clubs, city clubs and country clubs.

In 2020, Brian presented the Racquet Sports Strategic Planning and Capital Budgeting module for the Certified Racquet Sports Executive Program, an invitation-only, executive education program for certified racquet sports professionals.

Brian was elected President of the National Capital Chapter of the Club Management Association of America in 2012, and then in 2013. He served for over 5 years on the Association's Board, and for many more years on various committees.

Rachel is an accomplished and successful marketing strategist who thrives in the realm of finding ways to marry traditional and digital media strategies. As organizations struggle with the integration of modern communications with traditional values and practices, Rachel delights in being able to help organizations and professionals put their best foot forward in telling their story.

Rachel comes from a traditional media background in public relations, but has quickly found her niche in providing digital and social media guidance for businesses large and small
